  My husband and I planned a portion of our 5th wedding anniversary trip to specifically include The Boiler Room and Chef & The Farmer. First stop was tonight at The Boiler Room and we were beyond impressed with the atmosphere and offerings! We had the pimento cheese and sausage with house made saltines for starters.... saltines were so crisp and fresh, will be hard to ever enjoy boxed saltines in the future! Also had the raw oysters... my first time ever having raw oysters! They were so tender, clean, and succulent that I wish I had ordered more! I had the K-town BLT burger, my husband had the Blueberry BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Both were a hit! Juicy and precisely cooked with a generous amount of sauce and unique ingredients like pickled green tomatoes and pepper jelly bacon to drive it home! We shared a side of crisp, golden beef fat fries.... which were hard to share, should have got two! The sweet and cinnamony flavor of the house ketchup was a welcome change from what we usually have. The service was excellent, and my only complaint is that we don't have more days on our vacation in which to visit! We have reservations at Chef & The Farmer the next two nights, so I'm hoping this was just a prelude to many more great bites to come!

  Fun and lively bar. Split a double bacon burger with wife. It was delicious! 1/2 price pitcher night which is the world best bargain . Missed the $1 happy hour oysters which bummed me out. Service was great. This place is a hit with me. Wish I lived nearby now. Oh well I will have the memories. Oh my wife had the Banana Pudding. She inhaled it in 3 minutes. I think she tried to lick it out of the jar after.
